people galleries
so i've just returned from an friend's photography show at a local art gallery. the place was filled with familiar faces scanning the crowd trying to make it look as though they weren't really looking at anything particular other than the art. it's strange how functions such as that can turn from an art gallery to a people gallery. i'm the first to admit that i too become distracted from the art itself and quickly advert my attention to the massive audience. as a people watcher, i find it difficult to resist, i always have been one to cave in to temptation.
speaking of which... i have my written exam tomorrow and should return to my books.

photography? Art Galleries? Local art galleries? That is strange.
What locality could this exist in? I could only guess that you cannot be in the London that I know and love so dearly.
I am currently in Saskatoon and it is "super cool" here. We are staying at a friends house after the gig with No Birds. They were incredible! Remember Town & Country above the Forest City Gallery? Like that, but fuller and more people. They say that they are influenced by Jaga Jazzist, but I found them more like a ramped up T & C.
There is a younger guy that composes all of the songs and he was so eccentric! I think you would have found him absolutly life changing. We were going to crash at his parents house and he said, "I'll have to move all the leggo and you can sleep in my room." I hope that gives you a little hint to the psychology of the kid. Maybe he has a younger brother. Hmmmmm. That puts a totally different spin on situ.
Uniquness seems to rule these here prarie towns. I never would have thought that somewhere so flat could create such individuals.
Glad to see that you are keeping the London town alive. Enjoying the time off? School's out for summer!
To My Dearest C...Note,
Just for your info. it seems as though Heavy Malcolm has a blog on this site too... I'm sure he's now following our every move. Tread lightly...
With regards to your desire to know what gallery and who's work, it was at the Arts Project and it was Jeremy Hobbs. You do remember Jeremy Hobbs, right? It was pretty good. There were lots of naked people pictures. However, this time around, none with my name posted on the back thankfully! Not to mention these ones were quite tasteful. Even I was admiring nipples and goosebumps.
Glad you're enjoying Saskatoon. I've heard many of stories about that city. With a band similar to T&C, it makes me want to visit. Were there any cds for sale? Did you grab one?
As for enjoying my time off, I'll start tomorrow. I had to represent Amnesty at the University today for some high school social justice information day. It was dreadful! And... I'm missing your company terribly. I have no bicycle partner and I took a long walk alone ce soir :(
