Guts- Part III

While in the shower earlier this morning, where I do most of my thinking, I decided I'd begin to court* someone. Seeing that it's the first syllable of my name I figured it was extremely fitting for me to pursue.

I'm not too sure how I came to the conclusion. First, I noticed more grey hairs protruding from the brown and then my mind quickly went from feeling old to desiring it's youth it once knew so well. I've had a sore back over the last couple of days from painting my apartment. Then I thought about how one day in the not so distance future, my backache maybe wouldn't go away. Perhaps I'd wake up every day with a sore back... and not from painting my apartment but from reaching for a can of beans on a top shelf!

I reached for the shampoo and thought about the possibility of my having a child. Did I want one- did I need one? Did I need someone else to have one*? If I did choose to mother a child, I thought about the importance of starting earlier than later. 'Now's the time' I thought.

With my heart rate quickening, and my thoughts eating my brain, I came to a few conclusions:

1) Don't have any more coffee for the rest of the day.
2) Start exercising.
3) Try not to work from home. I take too many breaks and give myself too much freedom to think about everything, and anything, other than work.
4) Court someone not because I think I'm old and therefore need to. Rather, do it because it's a new challenge, and because I'm a little scared to. Not to mention, I grow tired of things that come too easily.

If men are called 'gentlemen callers', what are the female counterparts?

Woo, woo! or should it be knock knock?

I think the connection with your name is you were born to be courted and not that you should be courting. You neither have the money or time to dedicate to such an undertaking my dear courtee.

As we were discussing earlier ... maybe attempting to get knocked up is a more valuable endeavor.

i'm a bit better now that period cramps set in. if these are any indication of child birthing pains it'll be a cold day in hell before i go pushing a little human out of my womanly parts.

you're right about the money thing. the extra money teaching at the college needs to be reinvested into my education. me! me! me!

i'll get myself knocked up when i'm ready. i'm sure it won't be hard. it might be fun 'picking' out the right person to use and abuse.

I know a few people who would really love to live off cheesies. The problem is that it does not sustain life.

While conducting my research on peacocks I stumbled across some really funny discussions regarding feeding these fowl. I'll make a list of resources that maybe you could pass along to MPC's mom.

please check out this link.
